Housing Inspector

Responsible for inspecting housing units to determine compliance with Housing Quality Standards, policies, and mandates, identifying issues requiring follow-up, maintaining records, files, and inspection booklets, entering them into the appropriate portal, entering data, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Individuals must be able to successfully pass the training and certification process. The individual will be part of a team and should understand how the successful completion of their tasks positively impacts their co-workers. Individuals must be a self-starter, be able to work independently, and not need constant supervision.
Some inspections can be done remotely but we anticipate that eventually all inspections will be in person. Agency will reimburse for mileage in those instances.
