We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician / Packaging Assistant to join our team You will be responsible for completing work orders, repairing equipment and other required tasks. Lexington Coffee & Tea operates as a coffee roasting and packaging company that serves restaurants, coffee shops, and businesses in Lexington and surrounding areas. The company operates in a warehouse environment where the ability to multitask, work independently, and complete tasks efficiently is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion (Cleaning and repairing Bunn coffee machines and grinders)
  • Estimate time and extent of repairs
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, including In-house repairs and maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
  • Manufacturing and packaging product to leave the warehouse daily
  • Drive to and from account offices to service machinery

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to drive
  • Some customer service desired

This position is considered manual labor in a warehouse environment and should be considered when applying. Applicants must be able to stand for several hours at a time, move quickly, and be able to lift 50 pounds, and legally be able to drive.

Positive attitude, good customer service, ability to learn (and work) quickly and independently and use your time efficiently are qualities we are looking for in a candidate.
