Our client in Minneapolis, MN is looking for a  Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the development and optimization of processes for producing high-precision inertial sensors. You will play a pivotal role in defining equipment requirements, refining manufacturing techniques, and enhancing overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Support production operations for inertial sensor components.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of yield and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and drive innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate on new product development initiatives.
  • Maintain and optimize test equipment to ensure production capacity.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a cleanroom setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with optics or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
