Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Competence:
o Patient Intake and Records: Conduct thorough patient interviews, gather medical histories, and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHRs).
o Appointment Coordination: Efficiently schedule patient visits, manage calendars, and optimize provider schedules.
o Insurance Navigation: Assist patients with insurance forms, verify coverage, and process claims.
o Front Desk Support: Welcome patients, answer inquiries, and create a positive first impression.
o Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in data entry and documentation.
2. Clinical Eagerness:
o Patient Preparation: Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during exams.
o Vital Signs: Proficiently measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.).
o Specimen Collection: Collect blood, urine, or other specimens for diagnostic testing.
o Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed by providers.
o Patient Education: Explain treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions.
o Compliance and Safety: Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications:
• Certification: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in basic clinical procedures (vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, etc.).
• Administrative Skills: Familiarity with medical software and front desk operations and strong organizational skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with providers and fellow staff members.
