Local law firm seeking an attorney with one to five years experience prosecuting simple/gross misdemeanor offenses and infractions in the Pierce/King County areas.

The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to prosecute a case from start to finish, including:

- Arraignment: Reviewing cases for charging decisions and determining conditions of release

- Pretrial: Drafting offers, appearing in court, and conversing with defense attorneys

- Motions: Drafting legal motions 

- Trial: Preparing for and conducting trial

- Review: Appearing at review hearings and making appropriate recommendations to the Court

Our firm provides prosecution services for several different jurisdictions, with some courts allowing virtual appearances by attorneys and other courts requiring in-person attendance. Candidates should be versed with typical court databases, including JABS/JIS, oCourts, efile, Lawbase, etc. (experience with these databases isnt mandatory, but is helpful).
