Responsibilities
• Lead and/or work on a team working on residential installation of solar and battery storage systems.
• Provide leadership and technical expertise to the teams.
• Meet with customers to coordinate the completion of the project and all related equipment necessary to complete the job.
• Pull inventory and ensure all materials are available to complete the job.
• Document completion of finished jobs.
• Maintain a clean job site.
• Communicate job status to management to assure the successful completion of all jobs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to provide the perfect experience throughout the process.
• Work on residential Solar PV and Battery Storage Installation jobs
• Layout and assembly of solar modules / array, mounting hardware, and electrical equipment.
• Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC).
• Additional duties required as needed.

Requirements
• 1-2 year's Roofing/ Solar Roof experience; including metal, concrete tile, clay tile, and composition roofs.
• Knowledge installing different types of racking systems. (Ex. Iron Ridge, Unirac)
• Ability to effectively train team members on new techniques.
• Ability to work in challenging environments (hot sun, cold, wind, tight spaces, etc.).
• Capable of standing for long stretches of time and working at heights (on rooftops, climb ladders and stairs).
• Ability to safely handle tools and materials commonly found in the construction and solar industries, such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc. Commissioning & monitoring knowledge with Solar Edge is helpful, but not required.
Job locations change day to day and job locations can be all over Southern California.
• Strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including but not limited to peers and customers.
• Regular, reliable and predictable performance required along with reporting to work on time and great communication is also required.
Must be able to do commissioning and monitoring with Solar Edge.
Must have CA driver’s license and be insurable.
• OSHA 10 Card
You must be able to pass a Pre Employment Physical and drug test.
