Summary:
Supervise and participate in the installation, alteration, repair, and maintenance of commercial and industrial electrical systems. Manage subordinate staff, plan and estimate electrical projects, and perform various related duties. Ensure compliance with electrical industry standards, maintain electrical systems, and handle on-call duties.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, motors, generators, fixtures, and appliances.
- Plan and estimate costs for electrical wiring and fixtures on construction projects.
- Drive to work sites, load and unload tools and equipment, and perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Technical Skills:
- Considerable knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical equipment operations.
- Skill in the use and care of electrical testing, diagnostic, and repair equipment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams, and work in confined spaces, on ladders, and at heights.
