Job DescriptionJob Description

Follow all state and federal DOT regulations and record keeping guidelines, including scheduling all vehicle maintenance and annual certification or inspections.

Deliver products across Central and Eastern Iowa daily.

Prepare orders for shipments. Count and recount all orders to confirm correct part number(s) and counts throughout the day as the delivery requests come up.

Make timely deliveries that meet the required due dates and times as stated on the sales orders.

Provide superior customer service at all times.

Operate all equipment in a safe, courteous and efficient manner at all times.

Assist in the warehouse as time allows:

Handles shipping and receiving of products in a timely and accurate manner.

Maintain orderly and accurate shipping and receiving records.

Unload deliveries arriving by truck and assist drivers when requested.

Put away received stock daily.

Assist with inventory counting procedures.

Daily effort to check and organize the warehouse, keeping it clean and easy to locate and access material.

Other duties or special projects as required; (ie: sweeping floors, cleaning of company vehicles, site maintenance, lawn care, constructing shipping or storage containers, etc.)

Forklift experience valuable.

Need the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on occasion.

Warehouse is not temp controlled - position involves heat in summer and cold in winter. Much activity is outside.
