Job Description:

RPh on the Go is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist for a retail pharmacy. The pharmacist will be responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and pharmacy support staff, filling prescriptions, conducting drug clinical screenings, counseling patients, and managing operational budgets.

Terms:
  • Part-Time: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (3 days a week, with potential flexibility to coordinate with another pharmacist)
  • Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Closed on Weekends)
  • Pay: $65/hr
Duties:
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and pharmacy support staff
  • Fill prescriptions accurately per prescribing practitioners' instructions
  • Conduct drug clinical screenings to prevent negative drug interactions
  • Counsel patients on medication use and potential side effects
  • Participate in annual pharmacy budget projections
  • Manage operational budgets within guidelines and explain significant variances
  • Ensure accuracy of billing documents and inventory control records
  • Facilitate new business and ensure timely service delivery
Preferred Experience:
  • 1 year of experience in a retail (ambulatory) pharmacy setting
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Good people skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills for safe and efficient medication provision
Requirements:
  • Active CA State Pharmacist license with no negative history
