Summary: Layout, assemble, wire, and interconnect system control panels and electrical equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
· Interpret Electrical drawings
· Assemble system control panels
· Interconnect panel wiring based on detail electrical drawings
· Cut/bend/mount electrical conduit
· Pull and interconnect wire to the control panel from unit mounted equipment
· Assist in electrical connections and troubleshooting during system testing
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Industrial electrician experience
· Control panel assembly experience
· Experience interpreting engineering drawings
· Ability to use fabrication equipment and tooling as needed
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
· Interpersonal and interdisciplinary communication
· Organization and time management skills
· Proactive problem solver
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering documents and drawings
· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Other:
· General mechanical aptitude
· Daily walking, lifting, and climbing (stairs and equipment)
