Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist for a temporary role at an outpatient/clinic setting within a tribal healthcare facility in Fallon, NV. This position has the potential to become permanent based on performance. The successful candidate will deliver pharmaceutical care to patients and provide counseling on a variety of acute and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and confirm the accuracy of prescriptions.
  • Offer patient counseling on common outpatient acute and chronic conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy for patients.
  • Ensure meticulous and accurate record-keeping of patient information.

Qualifications:

  • Recent pharmacy experience is essential.
  • Certification as an Immunizer is a plus but not mandatory.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in outpatient or retail pharmacy is preferred.
  • Must have a valid State Pharmacist License in good standing.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage: $40/hour
  • Accommodation: Provided
  • Mileage Reimbursement: Included
  • Per Diem: Up to $54/day for meals and incidental expenses
