Call Center Representative Compensation

 

The pay for this position is $18.00/hr | $18.75/hr for Bilingual

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

 

Call Center Representative Highlights

 

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Shift information: M-F between the hours of 6am - 10pm (8 hour shift).

During our busy season you will be expected to work a 40 hour week and overtime when requested. During initial training and during our off season your hours may fluctuate between 32 to 40 hours depending on client need.

Onsite for day 1, then remote

 

Call Center Representative Responsibilities

 

Help our client members through the enrollment process, and when making updates to their health care and/or pension plans.

Start out on one client, and with time will be cross trained to provide assistance on multiple clients

Spend your day either on the phone, or providing assistance through webchat conversations and email

Quickly build rapport and respond to customers via phone, email, and instant message

Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements

Skillfully translate health and welfare and pension terms, complex plan information and processes into simple explanations and instructions that customers can understand and act upon.

Read and understand clients plan documents and online knowledgebase tools while collecting relevant information to determine immediate requests/questions and to anticipate the future needs of the member

Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines providing appropriate and accurate information

Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner

Perform other duties as assigned

 

Call Center Representative Requirements

 

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Customer Service experience

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

 

Call Center Representative Preferred Qualifications

 

Phone work experience
