Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate EMT / Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about holistic healthcare and possess the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
*Must be able to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering client care, including rooming clients, obtaining vital signs, and preparing rooms.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing billing and insurance information.
- Educate clients on wellness practices, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize client outcomes and promote continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
