Lavender Wellness and Massage is looking for 3 Licensed Massage Therapists for our busy, upscale boutique massage studio in Belmont. We have both Morning and Evening hours available. This is an independent contractor role. Must LOVE what you do

Responsibilities:

- Perform various massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal, and hot stone massages.

- Assess each client's individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific concerns and preferences.

- Create a comfortable and safe environment for clients during their sessions.

- Maintain accurate and updated client records, including health history and treatment progress.

Qualifications:

- Massachusetts massage therapy license.

- Proven experience in performing therapeutic massages (additional specialized qualifications are a plus).

- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to assess client needs and customize treatments accordingly.

- Proficiency in maintaining accurate client records.

- Professional demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others improve their health and wellness.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

 

Supplemental pay types:

  • Tips

 

Experience:

  • Massage Therapy: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Deep tissue massage: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Patient service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Trigger point therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

 

License/Certification:

  • Massachusetts Massage Therapy License (Preferred)
  • Special consideration to those certified in medical/orthopedic massage

 

Work Location: In person
