As one of the Project Consultants at Burke Home Services you will be responsible for completing in-home sales consultations for various types of home improvements, including interior and exterior renovations, energy efficiency upgrades such as windows and insulation as well as basement and crawlspace waterproofing.  Project Consultants provide estimates and create detailed proposals for customers while working closely with our designers and production team to ensure great results and excellent customer service.

Project Consultants will be required to close sales by developing customized solutions, presenting proposal and signing contracts for each project. Communicate project details, timelines and customer requirements to production staff. Identify and solve problems that might impede the completion of work within the budget and time goals. Frequent weekends and evening appointments will be required in order to accommodate the customer's needs.

Clear communications and strong organizational skills are a must as you will also be required to follow up on any unsold proposals, build relationships in the community and generate additional leads for future business.

We provide a competitive base salary along with a clear path to substantial supplemental income through monthly bonuses and commissions to exceed $100k per year. 

Requirements are as follows:

A  valid drivers license is an absolute must, no exceptions.

Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by company insurance carrier(s)

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Strong written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to use a laptop computer to present solutions, close sales and produce proposals

3-5 years of residential construction industry project estimating or “in-home” sales experience preferred.

A background in Energy Efficient home improvements is a big advantage
