Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Tech - Vascular / OB/GYN

Location: Mattoon, IL

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Ultrasound Tech specializing in Vascular and OB/GYN to join our team in Mattoon, IL. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular imaging. Responsibilities also include assisting with procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, needle biopsies, and aspirations. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations and provide accurate diagnostic information.
  • Assist with interventional procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech.
  • Registered in RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) and RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist).
  • Proficient in abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound.
  • Experienced with procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, needle biopsies, and aspirations.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA (American Heart Association).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Shift:

  • Full-time, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
