Job Summary:

As a Valet, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless arrival experience. Your responsibilities will include safely parking and retrieving guests' vehicles, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the valet area, and assisting guests with any additional requests or inquiries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, and a commitment to delivering unparalleled service to our discerning clientele.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
  • Safely Park and retrieve guests' vehicles promptly, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the valet area, including sweeping, trash removal, and organizing vehicles.
  • Provide directions, recommendations, and assistance to guests as requested. Communicate effectively with restaurant staff to coordinate guest arrivals and departures.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or issues professionally and efficiently, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards of service.
  • Always maintain a neat and professional appearance, including wearing the designated uniform or required attire.

Non-Essential Job Functions:

·         Additional duties as assigned by the valet supervisor or as needed.

Physical Requirements:

A valet position requires individuals to maintain physical stamina, as they spend long hours on their feet in fast-paced environments, often requiring walking, standing, and running.  Additionally, individuals may be requested to utilize electric scooters to perform their job.

They must possess the strength and ability to lift heavy luggage or objects safely, while also demonstrating excellent driving skills to maneuver vehicles of all types, including manual transmissions, with ease and precision. Coordination and agility are essential for navigating

vehicles through tight spaces, such as parking lots or garages. Furthermore, valets must endure various weather conditions, from heat to cold, rain, or snow, depending on the location. Alongside these physical demands, strong interpersonal skills are crucial for providing courteous customer service, and attention to detail is necessary for accurately recording vehicle information and ensuring their safe handling.

Schedule:

  • Evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a valet or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, run, and lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and points of interest is a plus.
