Position Summary: The Preschool Teacher at Apple Play Schools will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will work collaboratively with parents, staff, and administrators to ensure the holistic development of each child in your care. This role requires creativity, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity.
• Provide individualized attention and support to meet the diverse needs of each child.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance communication and collaboration.
• Conduct assessments and observations to track student progress and development.
• Encourage social skills, independence, and self-regulation through positive reinforcement and modeling.
• Plan and facilitate group activities, circle time, outdoor play, and other learning experiences.
• Incorporate music, art, storytelling, and sensory play into the curriculum to engage and inspire young learners.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress, behavior, and achievements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that reflects learning and creativity.
• Adhere to licensing regulations, safety protocols, and educational standards in early childhood education.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• State certification or licensure in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Proficiency in creating engaging and interactive lesson plans and activities.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
