Job DescriptionJob Description

We are an international sourcing/importing company doing business with large retail grocery chain stores in the US since 2002. If you have experience in International Ocean Freight, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Assure all order entry, change orders, pricing and order specifications are accurately entered and documented.
  • Directs the coordination of both incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Provide superior customer service and data analysis to internal and external customers.
  • Track finished goods shipment on water, and timelines to customers according to requirements.
  • Resolve any shipment issues.
  • Maintain constant communication between Freight Forwarders, Sales Team, Customers, Vendors, and Trucking companies
  • Handling documentation such as Entry Summaries, BOL, PL, and Invoices..

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) experience in handling International Ocean Freight/Logistics
  • Strong work ethic – “go to” attitude and ability to work within a small team
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently create opportunities without direct supervision
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook
