Job Description:

This is a Part-Time Dispatcher position with Mach 5 Delivery, delivering packages for Amazon

• Military veterans are welcome

• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus but not mandatory

Benefits & Scheduling:

• $23+ / hour (paid biweekly)

• 10-hour shifts are typical

• 3-day work week (30 hours)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assign drivers routes, anchor points and walkers for the day.

• Communicate routes, anchors and walkers to drivers.

• Coordinate with truck lead that vehicles are properly equipped for the weather such as wipers, snow shovels and rain covers.

• Check drivers have uniforms for new walkers.

• Monitor drivers field communication with route information, walker delivery status and other pertinent information.

• Coordinate rescue routes for the end of shift.

• Backup drivers who are absent.

• Monitor the drivers in the field periodically.

• Ensure drivers are successfully handling and delivering packages on time

• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed

• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Prior experience recommended

• Must have held state driver’s license for at least 4 years

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Must pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening

• Must pass a pre employment check

• Must have a clean motor vehicle report. (Multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)

• Must speak fluent English, Spanish a plus. Must have excellent reading, writing and communication skills
