We are seeking a dedicated Unit Manager to join our team

Duties:

  • Supervise and manage a team of healthcare professionals in a nursing home setting
  • Oversee the delivery of patient care and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Coordinate and schedule staff assignments to ensure adequate coverage
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff members
  • Provide guidance and support to staff in the areas of patient care, IV insertion, medication administration, and aseptic technique
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Epic to document patient information accurately

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in nursing home or home care
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, including IV insertion, medication administration, and aseptic technique
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of healthcare professionals
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as Epic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
