Barbershop Receptionist

We are looking for an organized barbershop receptionist in a luxury men's barbershop to provide customer and administrative support for our business. In this role, you will be required to greet and welcome clients, secure bookings, manage appointment schedules, process transactions, and assist with sales and marketing.

We are looking for excellent organizational and marketing skills. A top-notch receptionist should be able to remain calm in stressful situations and provide excellent customer service and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Attending to customer needs, inquiries, and complaints
  • Processing bookings and cancellations, and managing scheduled appointments
  • Informing the barber about customer appointments and requirements
  • Managing phone calls, emails, deliveries, and office inventory
  • Ensuring the reception area and barbershop are kept clean and organized, and inventory is restocked
  • Assisting with marketing and sales by providing customers with information on promotions, new products, and services
  • Shampooing clients before and after services are rendered.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
  • Excellent customer service and skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
  • Strong marketing and sales abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Type: Full-time
