Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing fortune 500 team on 2nd shift You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining all industrial equipment at the plant site. This includes installing/repairing mechanical piping, rotating equipment, fabricating, and welding.

This role is 2nd shift (1pm-1am) and will be starting at $28-$29

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and perform inspections, repairs and maintenance on parts of equipment and machines including electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
  • Repair production line equipment including conveyor belts, packaging equipment, grinding equipment and stacking equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment as needed. Either through assisting others or leading the work.
  • Performs scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and periodic inspections on production machinery and equipment. Lubricates and cleans parts. Adjusts devices positions and controls.
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Troubleshoots mechanical failures. Repairs or places defective parts. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Installs parts into devices. Starts devices to determine their performance.
  • Maintains spare parts inventory. Orders parts. Computer work as workload dictates.
  • Keeps an accurate record of work performed.
  • Performs other routine duties as necessary.
  • Keeps work areas clear and free of debris.
  • Adheres to safety rules and ergonomic practices.
