WhiteRecon Logistics, LLC is a Veteran Owned Small Business, Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for a Mechanic to help us maintain our Delivery Fleet Vehicles.
Benefits and Scheduling:
- $25.00 / Hour base pay. Up to $28.00 / hour. Additional raises provided based on knowledge, job performance, and length of employment.
- Typical shift is 10 hours and typical workweek is 4 days (40 hours).
- Health Insurance and Benefits available.
- Paid Time Off begins accruing immediately at start of employment.
Position Overview
- Performs inspections and repairs on fleet vehicles and orders parts as necessary. Maintains service/repair records.
Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds (overhead) in weight.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques and practices
- Ability to diagnose and repair both routine and the more complex problems on all types of automotive vehicles and components.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment associated with the trade.
Responsibilities
- Perform fleet vehicle inspections, major and minor repairs, as well as monitoring on-going regular scheduled maintenance.
- Inspect, charge, and replace batteries.
- Change and repair tires.
- Maintain fluids.
- Wheel and brake system maintenance.
- General automotive electrical diagnostics and maintenance.
- General engine diagnostic repairs and maintenance.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and diagnose a fleet vehicle.
- Ensure fleet vehicles are in safe, working order when placed in service, and free of mechanical defects.
- Maintain time, mileage, and servicing records.
- Travelling to make remote repairs.
Experience:
One year of journey level experience performing automotive maintenance and repair.
