Summary:

Milstead Service Center is seeking a skilled and motivated General Service Technician to join our team. As a General Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional automotive maintenance and repair services to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to delivering top-notch service.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

2. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues or concerns.

3. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with vehicles.

4. Perform minor repairs and adjustments, such as brake replacements, belt changes, and fluid flushes.

5. Ensure all work is performed accurately and efficiently, adhering to company standards and safety protocols.

6. Communicate effectively with customers to explain services, provide recommendations, and address any questions or concerns.

7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and service bays.

8. Assist senior technicians with more complex repair tasks as needed.

9. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Previous experience as an automotive technician or related field preferred.

3. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

4. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.

5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

6. Effective communication and customer service skills.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
