Contract: 6 Months

Location: Remote within US

Pay Range: $27-33/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Review, negotiate contracts, work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to procure services and goods.
  • Manage, advise, and engage in the sourcing and contracting processes
  • Develop Scopes of Work and Contract Service Agreements, when possible, for supplier compliance with Terms & Conditions.
  • Manage and work with key suppliers for long-term contracting, pricing & SLA’s.
  • Strengthen partnerships with business functions across the company to provide valuable consultation.
  • Develop a strong strategic advisor/partner relationship with the legal function to ensure best in class contracting practices are in place globally
  • Work closely with the finance organization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and become a key contact for them to procure goods and services.
  • Coordinate cross-department tasks to push purchase requests in a timely manner.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment to support procurement process.
  • Educate and train end users on procurement process.
  • Work in Purchasing Requestion (PR) system to ensure PO (Purchase Order) setup accuracy and track and manage PRs through the purchasing cycle
  • Ensure POs (Purchase Orders) are compliant with procedures & policies.
  • Manage contracts and documentation to support purchase requests.
  • Route contracts for signatures
  • Support special projects as they occur.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to oversee simultaneously occurring purchases, tasks, and deadlines.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships at all levels
  • Be a proven creative thinker, self-starter with a problem-solving approach
  • Can-do mentality and ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet the needs of the business quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change.
  • Working knowledge of procurement processes, methodologies, and approaches
  • Ability to solve problems and answer questions with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work cross functionally with groups from Legal, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Sourcing and Business Stakeholders
  • Experience in procurement driving requests through completion.
  • SAP purchasing experience preferred but at a minimum any ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
  • Some negotiation skills
  • University degree preferred.
