In this Quality Assurance Analyst role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. This position is focused on establishing and automating quality assurance and compliance processes, using SQL and Java coding to create robust automated testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with hands-on experience in automation and a deep understanding of testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement automated testing scripts and frameworks using SQL and Java to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications.
  • Establish and automate quality assurance processes for various projects, including web and mobile applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, performance, and security.
  • Perform thorough testing and analysis of software applications, identifying defects and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, incorporating compliance checks into the automated testing processes.
  • Continuously improve and expand automated testing coverage, keeping up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software products.

Requirements

  • A four-year technical degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience in Software Quality Assurance testing and analysis, including hands-on experience with automated testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Java coding is required.
  • Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Understanding of web and mobile application development processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all testing activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and communicate testing results and issues.
