PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
In collaboration with the Production Supervisor, the Final Assembler is responsible for assembly of 2KW to 350KW generator units including portable, air cooled, water cooled, and PTO builds. The Final Assembler operates machines and equipment such as overhead hoist, power tools, and torque wrenches. The Final Assembler is responsible for tear down, rebuild, fitting, adjusting, and aligning to close tolerances and strict inspection standards. The Final Assembler will build from blue prints and follow specifications while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. The Final Assembler also assists other operators, engineers, and departments as needed.
JOB INTERACTIONS AND INTERFACE
This role interacts with internal staff in: Sub Assembly, Engineers, Test, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Successfully and safely operate hand and foot staplers
Successfully and safely operate hand and power tools
Read blueprints accurately and understand measurement metrics
Operate overhead lifts or cranes
Multitask well and able to trouble shoot as situations arise
Work well within a team of professionals and independently
Stand for long periods of time
Follow strict inspection standards and adaptable to changes
Train and familiarize with WINCO procedures regarding assembling and packing units
Comply and align daily tasks while meeting deadlines
Work to excel in WINCO’s quality and safety standards
Assemble of 2KW to 350KW generator units including but not limited to portable, air cooled, water cooled, and PTO builds
Other duties as assigned
