Job Summary:

We are in search of a Maintenance Technician who excels in a dynamic work environment, undertaking a broad range of tasks to ensure the continuous operation of our client’s production and facility equipment. The role demands a proactive approach to installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities, adhering to stringent safety protocols and efficient maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and a background in electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics, and troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.

  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.

  • Understand the relationship between belts, gears, and motors.

  • Troubleshoot complex problems to minimize downtime.

  • Install and maintain light electrical systems.

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.

  • Perform a variety of plumbing and carpentry functions.

  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters. Material handling equipment in performing your duties.

  • Fabricate basic items using drills and lathes.

  • Operate and understand machine controls.

  • Move and install heavy equipment safely.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Technical certification or relevant experience in a similar role.

  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience: (hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical, PLC, HVAC).

  • Electrical experience (Single Phase, Three Phase, Running/Bending Conduit).

  • Servo Controls Motion

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Proficiency in basic carpentry and plumbing.

  • Ability to use various measuring devices accurately.

  • Experience as a Millwright is a plus.

  • Fabrication and Welding experience.

  • Ability to work extended hours standing, bending, crouching, climbing, reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting heavy objects.
