Tests: 3G Mig/Flux core T Plate| Mig and flux core 3G on a one-inch plate| Flux core Vision test on beam and pipe, Uphill, overhead, and flat on beam and flat on pipe. |3G Double bevel on 1" plate butted up - Test will be shot per code. Must carbon arc back then fill and cap with the same 3G Position.
Job Description:
The job requires experience working with I-beams ranging from 6 x 25 to 12 x 50 and finished units sized 8’ x 20’ to 16’ x 50’. Candidates must read blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures. Structural Fitters will take a written test and must pass a MIG and flux core 3G weld test on a one-inch plate. The role involves lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds frequently, as well as using hand and measurement tools. It requires welding with MIG, flux core, stainless steel, carbon, and aluminum, and involves operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment, making it safety sensitive.
