We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze transportation data and make informed decisions to optimize routes and schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience with transportation management systems and possess strong analytical skills.

Duties:
- Coordinate and schedule the movement of goods, ensuring timely delivery
- Analyze transportation data to optimize routes, minimize costs, and improve efficiency
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to provide updates on delivery status
- Utilize logistics software
- Monitor shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy and timely processing
- Perform data entry tasks to update transportation records in systems such as AS400
- Utilize GPS technology to track the location of vehicles and provide real-time updates

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar logistics role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze transportation data and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) such as SyteLine or Oracle Transportation Management
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Proficient in data entry using systems like AS400
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
