We are currently seeking experienced Pavement Marking General Laborers with a valid CDL license or experience operating Striping or Epoxy trucks to join our team and work our overnight shifts at our work sites in the Albuquerque, NM area and will work at job sites throughout the state of New Mexico. Our Pavement Marking General Laborers support the pavement function which will entail site set up and clean up, site layout and barrier, cone, traffic control materials, preparing machinery, loading and unloading the truck, and operating paint trucks.

The starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Candidates with a valid CDL license will start at a higher hourly rate. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training

What You'll Do:
  • Support all pavement functions and duties at job sites based on the site plan and / or contractor directions
  • Install Preform Plastic and Preformed Thermoplastic to job specification
  • Implement striping plans and Preform needed layout including intersections markings
  • Operate Striping and Epoxy trucks, as well as other paint trucks
  • Operate and maintain all hand equipment including milling equipment
  • Communicate with contractors and relate specific customer / job changes and other information to Supervisor, Project Manager, office staff, or others

What We Need from You:
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Possess a Valid Class A or B CDL license or be able to obtain one within 60 days of employment
  • Hold a current Flagger certification or the ability to pass Company sponsored Flagger Certification (ATSSA)
  • Prior experience working operating Striping or Epoxy trucks is a plus
  • Be able to successfully complete a company sponsored Defensive Driver training
  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (work boots – 6 inch with safety toe, hard hat and safety vest)
  • Comfortable being regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment, and machinery parts and working around moving traffic, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate / loud noise levels
  • Ability to lift / move more than 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to travel and work overnight
