Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Water Mitigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water damage restoration and mitigation, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. This individual will be responsible for overseeing water mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments of water damage situations, develop mitigation plans, and communicate project requirements to the team.
  • Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and other mitigation tasks as needed.
  • Monitor equipment and ensure proper setup and operation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including photos, job logs, sketches, and equipment inventory. Ensure your team is also accurately documenting projects.
  • Work with mitigation admin staff to communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and others involved in the job to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in the water mitigation or restoration industry, with demonstrated proficiency in water extraction, drying, and restoration techniques is preferred.
  • IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification desired.
  • Ability to sketch losses, use Matterport and moisture logs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • You are honest, dependable and punctual.
  • Availability for on-call rotation and occasional overtime as needed.
