MB America, Inc. is looking for the right individual to assist in the service department.

With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we provide top-notch products to our clients, ensuring their machinery operates at peak performance.

The ideal candidate is a technician with 2+ years of experience working in the heavy equipment industry. Knowledge of heavy equipment hydraulics systems and attachments is highly preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performs routine inspection, preventive maintenance and repairs on attachments and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Troubleshooting problems with various pieces of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts usage, labor hours, and equipment condition.
  • Pre-Delivery Inspection and inventory audits of New/Used Equipment
  • Assembly and Installation: Assist in assembling, shipping, and installing hydraulic attachments onto various types of heavy construction equipment.
  • After sales activities: Utilize our CRM software to organize, track service activity and follow ups.
  • Assistance and Support: Provide support to senior technicians and other team members as needed, collaborating to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Building Maintenance: Perform simple building maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing minor plumbing issues, and maintaining cleanliness in the workshop area.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanics preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with shop tools.
  • Good trouble-shooting skills.
  • Able to lift and carry 75 pounds.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Travel

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be reliable and able to work in a team environment.
  • Must maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Must possess reading skills sufficient to understand and comprehend all safety specifications.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to perform physically demanding work which may include lifting, carrying, and crouching. Must have good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and balance. Must have the ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
