MATERIAL HANDLER (3RD SHIFT)

  • Position Type: Temp to Hire

  • Requirements: Resume / Interview / Background Check / Drug Test / Authorized to work in the U.S.

  • HOURS: FRIDAY TO TUESDAY (Off Wednesday & Thursday) / 3rd shift : 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

  • PAY: $18.00

  • Location: Franklin Park, IL

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The Material Handler is responsible for manually moving freight around warehouse, stocking/sorting product or other materials, and loading and unloading trucks/trailers

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continously throughout the shift.

  • Prepare goods and materials to be shipped along with their corresponding packing slips; perform basic inventory maintenance

  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures (e.g. dock doors are locked, wheel chocks utilization)

  • Take direction from Team Lead/ Manager

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age and ability to pass a background check; must possess the ability to work outdoors, in the elements, and overnights / weekends.

  • 1-2 years experience with High School Diploma/GED

  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 50 pounds)

  • Steel Toe Boots Required
