CDL A Driver needed near Elizabeth, NJ

Are you a skilled CDL A Driver with a passion for safety and efficiency? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in New Jersey. We value experience, reliability, and a commitment to safety above all else.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport heavy loads and items on flatbed trailers, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Secure loads using appropriate methods, such as straps, chains, and tie-downs, while adhering to weight and height limits.
  • Operate knuckle booms, truck stabilizers, crane trucks, and forklifts as needed to load and unload cargo.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo information.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Requirements:

  • CDL A Driver with a minimum of 3 years experience in transporting heavy loads on flatbed trailers.
  • Full knowledge of securing loads safely using straps, chains, tie downs, and understanding weight & height limits.
  • Previous experience with knuckle booms, truck stabilizers, crane trucks, and forklifts.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Availability to report to our NJ facility daily.
  • This is a Temp to perm position
  • Pay $35-$38 per hour.
