Construction Helper

We have an immediate opening for a Construction Helper to join our project team. A resume is required to be considered for the position. You must be hard-working, reliable, and willing to perform various tasks that are required on the work site. Responsibilities include transporting materials, site excavation, structure demolition, and assembly and installation of components. We prefer candidates who have at least one year of experience in construction or skilled labor but are willing to train the right person. Depending on the job, you may also be required to work early or late hours, and sometimes overtime shifts. Typical work week is Monday- Friday 40 hours. 

Job Description

Transport equipment, tools, and materials to the work site
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand daily responsibilities
Clear out and prepare work site for construction
Demolish existing structures
Assemble and install products and components
Pay DOE and qualifications.

Required Skills and Education

- Familiar with common manual and power tools and equipment
- Able to lift 75+ pounds
-Able to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and twist. 
-Reliable transportation to and from job sites around the Pierce, Kitsap, and sometimes Thurston counties
-Able to pass background check
-Able to pass drug screen
-Have a basic set of hand tools (Hammer, pry bar, screw drivers, pliers, etc.) power tools are a plus

Common jobs include demo and removal of debris, flooring, kitchen and bath remodels, roofing, siding, decks, drywall, paint, moulding, and water/ fire loss restoration.
