We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Registered Nurse to become a part of our CHSI clinical team in the city of Bloomington, CA

NEW GRADS WELCOMED

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing general nursing care and leadership, working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; the RN will work with the Provider to promote and restore patient’s health as they prescribe, provide, delegate, evaluate and coordinate comprehensive professional nursing care through the use of the nursing process for patients of all ages, gender, cultures, and background; the RN will oversee, supervise and train MA's.

 

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess, plan, direct, evaluate and chart total nursing care as determined by the patient’s age related; physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures of CHSI within the RN scope of practice.
  • Delegate care team members in accordance with patient needs, staff capabilities and qualifications to improve the delivery of healthcare.
  • Report to the Director of Nursing and seek guidance regarding clinical protocols and procedures and follows all clinical protocols and Universal Precautions.
  • Work with and report to Site-Manager (SM) regarding all operational related duties and advises the SM on process improvement.
  • May assist Provider during examination, treatments, surgeries, and procedures.
  • Triage patients and administer immunizations as needed.
  • Conduct monthly MA chart reviews for various functions related to workflow, screenings, utilizing the audit tool and other quality program tasks.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervises Medical Assistants in the performance of their clinical duties and responsibilities.
  • Oversees back office work flow to ensure patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring MAs adhere to the Meal and Rest Period Policy.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience preferred
  • Current California RN License
  • Experience working with an EHR/EMR (i.e., NextGen) is an asset.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is an asset for this role and is highly desirable

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with divergent and diverse groups.

  • Ability to deal effectively with changing situations and stressful environment.
  • Ability to perform tasks related to physical activity to complete the responsibilities of the position.
