Thank you for considering a career with us. Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group (CCWSG) is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As an LVN, you will work under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct nursing patient care services within the scope of practice.
  • Assisting providers with examination and treatment of patients.
  • Taking vitals, performing screening tests, and administering medication, injections, and immunizations.
  • Acting as the Vaccine Coordinator for the Vaccine for Children program.
  • Performing laboratory procedures and assisting with the COVID vaccine clinic.
  • Providing education to patients and caregivers.
  • Responding to patient inquiries, following up on labs, and assisting with medical record requests from external entities.
  • Providing front office coverage as needed and serving as a backup to the Health Center Supervisor.
  • Assisting with the coordination of county, state, and federal audits.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • A current Vocational Nurse license in the State of California.
  • Current CPR / BLS certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience in an ambulatory outpatient setting preferred, though new graduates may be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to problem-solve effectively and make independent judgments.
  • The ability to work with a diverse population from various socio-economic backgrounds and abilities.
  • The ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • A thorough understanding of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of an electronic health record system is strongly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
