We are seeking a 3yr old Preschool Teacher to join our organization Joshua Learning Tree Academy is a partner/provider with Child Care Resources administering the Early Head Start and Head Start Program.This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children for this program. Also, we are a partner/provider with the Alabama Department of Early Childhood administering the First-Class Pre-K and Birth – 5 Foundation Site program. Candidates with either the CDA or an Associates Degree will be considered only.

Responsibilities:

Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth

• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Required: Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a current Child Development Associate Credential in Preschool with 1 years’ experience
• Candidate must be fully vaccinated with the COVID 19 Vaccine
