Crematory Operator

Mountain View Funeral Home is seeking a licensed Crematory Operator to join our family owned and operated team.  As a funeral home representative and part of our team, you must maintain a high level of compassion, empathy, integrity, and professionalism. 

As a Crematory Operator, you will be responsible for following our processes and procedures to insure 100% accuracy with cremating individuals. We require that you have a valid drivers and cremation license, as you will travel between our three locations.  You must be able to safely lift/push/pull 50lbs. Safety and Attention to Detail are paramount. Experience is preferred.  Duties of this position may include:

·         Transport decedents

·         Take Fingerprints of deceased

·         Maintain crematory equipment

·         Order Supplies

·         Facilitate Cremations

·         Ensure identifying documents accompany remains throughout the process

·         Clean, sort, and log medical devices

·         Package & mail cremated remains

·         Need to be willing to prepare individuals for personal viewings/ no embalming skills required
