Job Title: Flatbed Delivery Driver

Location: North Texas

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description: As a Delivery Driver at [Company Name], you will be responsible for safely operating a 24’ flatbed truck to deliver goods to our customers. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading cargo, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and maintaining a high standard of customer service. While no CDL is required, previous experience driving a 24’ flatbed truck is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a 24’ flatbed truck safely and efficiently to deliver products to various locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit.
  • Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any delivery-related concerns.
  • Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs and invoices.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and vehicle operation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience driving a 24’ flatbed truck.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility with working hours and availability.
