Stenys Lake Country is a sports bar and grill that will be opening in May We are a family run business and this will be our second location we are opening. We are currently running our downtown Milwaukee Steny’s location that has been open since 1985. We are known for our elevated bar food and our excellent customer service.
We are looking to hire a Kitchen Manager that will be in charge of the day to day operations. This position requires someone who will create quality products that contribute to an exceptional guest experience. A leader who is able to mentor staff members and create and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications/Abilities:
- 2+ years of Managing Experience
- 2+ years of Catering Experience
- ServSafe Certified/ Proper knowledge for health and safety of preparing and handling food
- Kitchen Display System experience (preferred but not necessary)
- Full-time availability with flexible schedule 40-50 hour work weeks
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to stand and work for long periods of time
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Duties include:
- Ordering and inventory management
- Scheduling back of house positions
- Catering and events planning
- Hiring qualified candidates
- Training back of house positions
- Overseeing and maintaining quality of food preparation and presentation according to our standards
- Creating new and exciting menu items
- Monitoring handling, storing and preparing food safety and correctly
