Job DescriptionJob Description

Urbia is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operational Lead to manage the day-to-day activities associated with warehouse operations to insure that the shipping and receiving functions are executed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving , inventory control, and exhibits excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity to the Warehouse Manager
  • Manage flow of delivery documents for customer orders, acting as a conduit between the sales department and the warehouse team.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations to verify inventory accuracy. Research and resolve any inconsistencies .
  • Inspect and document all product packaging for new and existing products, making sure labeling is accurate, clear and concise,
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment and inventory management.
  • Reports on key metrics such as order accuracy, fulfillment rates, shipping times, inventory turnover, reorder points and stock outs.
  • Identify trends , opportunities and areas for improvement, including inefficiencies and bottlenecks in fulfillment process.
  • Assist in optimizing warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming inventory to verify product and packaging quality.
  • Lead warehouse staff and activities in order to meet daily projects and shipping KPI’s
  • Tracking and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods.
  • Oversee the pick, pack, and ship procedures ensuring all items are shipping on a timely basis. and properly documented within our ERP system.
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area as well as maintaining the warehouse in a safe, secure and organized manner

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills required (ERP system, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams.
  • Keen problem solving abilities.
  • .Previous experience in a warehouse environment and be able to work in varying facility conditions.
  • Ability to carry out policies and procedures.
  • Must possess an attention to detail.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to delegate
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skill
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift and/or pull 50lbs without restriction.
