8 Consulting is a growing cybersecurity and systems engineering firm with a focus in the federal and infrastructure markets.  We are looking to add a high energy, detail oriented, directive proposal coordinator to our team who will push our company full of engineers and executives to get proposals and marketing out the door in accordance with our business development plan.  

Duties include:

• Developing and distributing marketing materials such as brochures and flyers to promote the company or organization’s services
• Attending a limited number of conferences or marketing events to build industry relationships, make client contacts, and find potential teaming partners.
• Communicate with clients regarding deadlines and any changes to proposal timelines and requirements
• Coordinating with internal departments such as accounting and human resources, or business units such as Security Engineering, Security Operations, Program Managment, to ensure that they are providing necessary and valuable inputs to the proposal process
• Coordinating with outside vendors to ensure that they are fulfilling their contractual obligations in support of bid and proposal efforts
• Reviewing proposals for content quality and consistency with company standards
• Reviewing proposals for compliance with RFP requirements
• Managing relationships with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the service they are receiving and obtaining satisfaction surveys, reviews or endorsements.
• Maintaining a library of useful content for re-use on proposals
• Maintaining our Pipeline tool and bid approval process.
