Job Description: We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a proven track record of driving excellence. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting asphalt and related materials to various job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport asphalt and other materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to various job sites.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site supervisors.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in the asphalt or construction industry.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Physical ability to load and unload materials as necessary.
