Summary: We are searching for a full-time technician for our fast-paced ophthalmic practice located in the heart of Beverly Hills. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with a positive attitude. The candidate must be mature, responsible, reliable, and able to work with speed and accuracy while delivering excellent customer service to our patients.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Technicians work closely with patients to document the chief complaint (CC) and history of present illness (HPI) and perform testing and refractive services. The selected candidate will receive extensive on-the-job training from our senior technicians and optometrists.

Qualifications:

o (Ideally) must have clinical experience – Ophthalmology, Medical, and EMR experience preferred but not required

o Must be proficient in typing (at least 50 WPM) and good at spelling, punctuation, and grammar

o Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone and in writing

o Must have professional demeanor, conduct, and work ethic

 

Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with work experience.
