Duties:

• Performing derates and main panel upgrades
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to solar projects and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
• Oversee parts of the construction crew
• Troubleshooting electrical equipment and solar projects
• Adhere to and enforce quality standards and safety codes in all electrical work. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Conduct thorough evaluations of residential and commercial properties to assess electrical needs and plan for necessary upgrades or modifications
• Assist with and perform other various electrical tasks as assigned, contributing to the successful completion of projects

Requirements:

• Of legal age, over 18
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Must have good leadership skills
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 50 pounds
• The ability to work in extreme weather
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• Spanish speaking a plus but not required
• Expertise in electrical systems, including panel upgrades, grounding, bonding, and troubleshooting
• Must be open to random drug screenings
