Auto Mechanic

Steve Olmeda Exxon is a highly reputable auto repair shop in Corpus Christi, TX. We are family owned and have been servicing vehicles for more than 30 years.

We are looking for a skilled Full-Time Auto Mechanic who has 5+ years of experience.

If you have experience working on Automotive Vehicles, we would love to meet with you and show you the cars we are working on.

*Must have a current Driver's License.

Responsibilities as an Auto Mechanic:

• Able to diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, etc.
• Knowledge working on timing belts and timing chains
• Repair or replace faulty parts and carry out regular maintenance
• Advise customers on what repairs are needed as well as the cost
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
• Adhere to all company policy, procedures, safety and environmental rules
• Run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
• Very good communication skills
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
