TMI Services Inc. has two locations in North Carolina and we’re looking to hire in both locations for Pavement Marking Operators.   • Must be knowledgeable in the state specifications for highway and roadway markings, as well as the policies and procedures of TMI Services, Inc.
  • Must be trained and knowledgeable in the equipment and application of materials.
  • Operators must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Operators will be required to attend the NCDOT Pavement Marking RODEO to become certified in pavement marking installation with the State of North Carolina. He or She will be required to renew his/her certification every three years as required.
  • Make necessary adjustments in application to maintain quality control.
  • Become familiar with all layout procedures, plans, and specifications for each state in which you perform work for the company.
  • Documenting, recording, and maintaining quality information while keeping current with all applicable regulations.
  • Inspect the equipment before the start of each shift to ensure proper and safe working conditions.
  • Assist the foreperson with daily truck reports, daily production sheets, and any maintenance necessary.
  • Repairing and maintaining equipment. Servicing, repairing, and adjusting equipment that operates primarily based on mechanical principles.
  • Perform general physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs as well as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, walk, and work in adverse weather conditions
  • Must Maintain a DOT Physical
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Driver’s License (Required)
